A Thought to Ponder
What if I said that you had the potential to increase your business without having to meet strangers or travel far? Would that be a potentially good use of your time?
Well, you already possess that potential through your desire and ability to conduct Recons, 121s, or dances, whatever you wish to call them. By visiting just one other member per week to learn about their business, you will increase your chances of them bringing you more business. That’s because if you go to see them, they will reciprocate.
By explaining to other members your motivation for being in business and your plans for the future during a Recon Meeting, you will also be motivating yourself, especially if you do it every week.
By learning more about how the members of the group can help people, you will be able to solve your own and your family’s problems, as well as those of your contacts and perhaps even strangers.
By getting to know each other better, the group will become stronger and develop a more complete sense of unity, teamwork, and collective benefit. Sometimes we get so caught up in the busyness of life that we forget we need to break out and do other things to ensure we develop ourselves and our community. Like motivating yourself to go to the gym regularly or eat healthily, our modern lives sometimes make us feel we don’t have time. Well, I say you do have time if you really want to, and if you don’t want to make the group better by being active, why are you here?
